For those who are searching for the ultimate in a lightweight game gun, one which may be carried all day without experiencing undue fatigue, the two inch is the way to go. The two inch cartridges which are available in 15/16 ounce loads are very quick and efficient, they are available in 6, 7 ½, 8, and 9 shot. In searching for a two inch chambered gun, never lose sight of the fact that the purpose of the two inch gun is for lightness of weight and speed of handling. The weight of an average English two inch 12 bore gun is in the area of 5 pounds 5 ounces, they run for a double barrel side by side between 5 pounds 1 ounce up to 5 pounds 10 ounces. Anything over 5 pounds 10 ounces and you are probably better off to either go with a 16-bore or a lightweight 2 ½ inch 12-bore game gun.

Should you have any questions concerning the proof of your guns, their chambers’ length or any other questions concerning safety, call or visit a qualified gunsmith or gun maker before taking any chances.
While used guns are sold with "no warranty expressed or implied", Woodcock Hill Inc. Thomas Bland & Sons Gunmakers Ltd. inspects each gun for serviceability and functionality. Guns that do not meet English Proof Rules are not sold here and you can buy your gun with confidence.

EXAMINATION PERIOD
All guns with the exception of those purchased under a LAY AWAY plan have a 3 (three) day examination period. Upon examination, should you decide that you do not wish to keep the gun, simply return it in EXACTLY the same condition as it was sent to you for your - no questions asked - refund. There is no examination period for lay away guns, be certain before you buy.
PAYMENT
Payment for guns must be by certified cheque, money order, Bank draft, valid Credit card( VISA and MASTER CARD ) or a personal cheque (given time to clear before the gun is shipped). Clearance periods for personal cheques are only required for the purchase of guns.

LAY AWAY

TRADES
We do accept guns on a trade basis; however it is better if you sell your gun either yourself or on consignment. Give us a call and we will try to work out some arrangement that will be satisfactory.
